Travel early in the morning for a full-day tour of Sham Valley, sometimes referred to as the "Apricot Valley." See the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to honoring the men who died in the Indo-Pak conflicts. Proceed to the stunning Sikh shrine known as Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and stop by SECMOL, the school that was featured in the well-known Bollywood film "3 Idiots." Discover the intriguing Magnetic Hill, where automobiles seem to defy gravity. After that, head back to Leh and spend the night at your hotel.
Make plans yourself for an exciting trip to Nubra Valley today via Khardung La Pass, which is 17,582 feet high and one of the world''s highest motorable highways. Upon reaching the Nubra Valley, often known as the "Valley of Flowers." See the 106-foot-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha at the Diskit Monastery. Discover Hunder''s distinctive sand dunes, where you may take an ATV ride or a double-humped Bactrian camel ride. You will check into your tent for the night when you get at Nubra.
Transfer for Pangong Tso, a breathtaking high-altitude lake at 14,270 feet, after breakfast. You travel through Shyok Valley, which offers breathtaking views of tranquil scenery and rocky mountains. Admire the lake''s constantly shifting shades of blue when you arrive in Pangong Tso. Explore the lake''s shoreline, take pictures, and take in the peace and quiet of this isolated area throughout the day. Camp along the lake and have a meal over a campfire in the evening.
After leaving the hotel, head back to Leh via the picturesque Chang La Pass, the world''s third-highest motorable road. Stop by the Chang La Baba Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to the brave soldiers.
